Je suis né à Paris en 1981.
J’ai grandi en banlieue parisienne dans des quartiers populaires.
Mon enfance est le théâtre intime de tout un monde imaginaire
qui va m’accompagner et me guider toute ma vie durant.
J’ai toujours porté en moi un idéal de justice et une quête de vérité. En cherchant dans le monde cet idéal qui brûle en moi :
Je vais rencontrer les Hommes et voyager, mais jamais je ne trouverai à l’extérieur la perfection de cet absolu qui vit à l’intérieur de
moi…
J’ai toujours peint et dessiné mais la véritable révélation n’a eu lieu que bien plus tard.
Après le lycée, tel un papillon qui commence à sortir de sa chrysalide, je commence des études artistiques, soutenu financièrement par mon grand-père.
Admis et formé dans des écoles d’arts graphiques réputées, dont la prestigieuse académie Julian ( ESAG Penninghen),
qui compta parmi ses élèves Henri Matisse, Léger, Nolde, Mucha et d’autres encore qui font partie de notre histoire.
En 2004, je me lance en en tant que graphiste free-lance sur le marché du travail.
En 2006, c’est en rentrant d’un voyage d’un an en Norvège que
je vais peindre ma première toile, j’ ai alors 25 ans.
Le visage d’un monde créateur subtil et puissant
va alors m' apparaître.
Brute et furieuse, fragile et sage, la vie mystérieuse qui affluait des sphères gardées de l’esprit, tout en s’organisant spontanément sur ma toile, allait
changer ma vie...
Je me définis comme un artiste insatisfait dont la recherche de vérité brûle plus que jamais en moi.
Mes premières œuvres sont fougueuses et violentes,
comme ce souffle qui me dicte impérieusement la destinée qui sera la mienne.
J’ expose à Noisy-le-grand en 2007 pour la première fois,
aux côtés de trois autres artistes invités :
« Paths to the free will » Cette exposition représente la pierre de fondation de ma peinture.
J’ai vécu trois années à Los Angeles durant lesquelles
je me suis consacré à mon art. J’ai enseigné l'art au
" Lycée français de Los Angeles " et exposé entre autres
à Edgmar Center for the Arts. Après 5 années de vie au Panama où mon art a été présenté avec succès dans une galerie du
quartier historique et chic de la capitale; je suis parti habiter au Luxembourg où j‘ ai intégré HARIKO et son collectif d’artiste.
J’y donne régulièrement des workshops. En plus de l'organisation de plusieurs expositions, j’ anime des ateliers
et propose des projets artistiques dans différentes structures ( Foyers, entreprises, centres de formation, associations, écoles
... ) J’ expose chaque année mes oeuvres à la Luxembourg Art Week
I was born in Paris in 1981. I grew up in the outskirts of Paris in a working class neighbourhood. My childhood was the intimate stage for an imaginary world that would follow and guide me throughout my life.
I has always held to an ideal of justice and a search for truth.
Searching the world for this ideal that burns inside me : I meet others and travels, but I will never find outside the perfection of this absolute that lives inside me ….
I have always been painting and drawing but the true revelation didn’t happen until later in my life.
After high school, I blossomed and started studying art, helped by the support of my grand-father. After presenting my portfolio, I was accepted in 2000 and trained at highly regarded graphic art schools, including the prestigious “Académie Julian-Penninghen”, which counts amongst its students Matisse, Léger, Nolde, Mucha and others that are a part of our artistic heritage.
In 2004, I worked as a free-lance graphic artist.
In 2006, on returning from a one-year journey in Norway, at the age of 25 years I painted my first canvas.
It is then that a creative world, both subtle and powerful, appears through my hands...
Rough and raging, fragile and still, the secretive life that flows through the protected spheres of the spirit, whilst organising everything on the canvas, was to change my life...
I describe myself as an unsatisfied artist whose search for truth burns more than ever in me. My first works are ardent and violent, like a whisper that urgently dictates me the destiny that is to be mine.
In 2007, I exhibit for the first time with three other artists in the show “ Paths to the free will ”. This exhibition represents the founding statement of my work.
I lived three years in Los Angeles devoting myself to my art. I have been teaching art at " Le Lycée français de los Angeles" and exhibited at different places like the Edgmar Center for the Arts. I lived 5 years in Panama where my art has been succesfully shown in a gallery located in the historical and chic district of the capital city.
I now lives in Luxembourg. I'm a member of the artistic and social Project HARIKO where I regularly holds workshops. My paintings are presented every year at the prestigous Luxembourg Art Week. I've also organised various art exhibitions. I lead workshops and propose artistic projects in structures like: Social homes, companies, training centers, associations, schools...
